Outbreak of Salmonella Newport

Whooping cough cases increase

Cases of whooping cough (pertussis) reported to the Health Protection Agency (HPA) in England and Wales have more than doubled from 421 cases in 2010 to 1040 in 2011. Increases in levels of whooping cough are seen every three to four years and figures in 2011 are in line with cases reported in the last peak year of 2008.

New Patient Registration

Registration forms can be collected from the surgery between 8.30am and 6.00pm daily.

New patients will be asked to complete a health questionnaire and record their height, weight, blood pressure, using the automated equipment adjacent to reception and provide us with information regarding smoking and alcohol consumption. We will also ask you about your ethnicity and first language.

Non-English Speakers
